The YouTube channel "J.C. on a bike" is often how folks find their way here. We've got two strikes now, so it might not be long before this outlet is gone. If you want to specifically support this work with a one time donation, this is the place to do so!
*NOTE: After you click <Support> above, you can designate ANY amount you would like to contribute!
If you don't like PayPal, you can go directly to my vendor and make a 10$ donation directly (the amount can also be set to whatever you like here, I think).
The bike rides are a labor of love that I plan to continue for a long time to come. Warning: Some rides in the future will also be on an electric unicycle and/or a BMW R1100RT-P.
Please be sure to scroll down to see that I had this basically done and sorted in February of 2020. This ride is simply an update to that one.
Gosh how far we've come since this one.
I seriously almost lost it when I saw Dr. Osterholm on Joe Rogan. Wow, so long ago now. And what has changed since?
My stance is that biology is us, and so know it is knowing yourself. The TV wants you to leave it to the experts.
I say we should all be experts. So let's read!
I am commuting home from University of Pittsburgh here, working during lockdown. This is THE definitive breaking news coverage of the lab leak...that, when this video was released, was a crazy conspiracy story. This ended up being the beginning of the end of my academic career. They have decided not to renew my contract making accusations that I wasn't working productively during the pandemic, and that I am both racist and misogynist. I am unhappy with this evaluation.
This is long, but an excellent summary of the review and our motivations for writing it.
